1Description
Modular Wind Tunnel (STEM)
Personal project under construction: a fully 3D-printed (FDM), low-speed, suction-type wind tunnel, based on the open-source design by Jerrod H. (award-winning on MakerWorld, presented at AIAA SciTech 2025). Priority is smoke-flow visualization — not test speed — so every stage (bell-mouth, honeycomb-and-screen flow conditioning, 4:1 contraction, test section with Gridfinity magnetic modules, diffuser) exists to deliver laminar, uniform flow. Fan chosen: a Brazilian-made 140mm axial fan (Arctic P14) with PWM control, already working.
